Weston, Florida, November 2, 2015 – Golden Gate BPO Advisory Services, a division of Golden Gate BPO Solutions (“Golden Gate BPO”), announced today it has been engaged to provide sell-side investment banking services, in conjunction with Cross Keys Capital, to a South Florida-Based Provider of Mobile Performance Marketing Services.

According to Stephen Ferber, Managing Partner of Golden Gate BPO Advisory Services and Senior Advisor to Cross Keys Capital, “The client company has only been in operations since April 2013, is on a torrid pace to record $10mm of revenues and $1.7mm of adjusted EBITDA for FY2015.  LTM revenue through June 2015 is already at $7.4mm and the Company continues its growth trajectory every month.”

Performance Marketing is a relatively new form of mobile/digital marketing wherein the Company’s customers (called advertisers) only pay for a successful lead via a technology-driven ad placement and contact.  The ads are locally targeted lead generation mobile advertisements that incorporate a phone number to connect consumers directly with advertisers (the Company’s customers).  Success, in most cases, is defined when a call lasts beyond a certain pre-negotiated duration, and advertisers only pay for “successful” leads.

According to Rick Becker, Managing Director of Golden Gate BPO Advisory Services and Cross Keys Capital, “What is so interesting about the model from our client’s point-of-view is that the Company is not the actual publisher of the ads, but rather an intermediary who has the relationships with a network of publishers who make these connections.  And for our client, this too is success-based as the Company only pays for successful leads and has an interesting model that is very cash-flow positive and risk-adverse to the company.”

The Company sells access to a network of affiliates/publishers of ads in a series of industry verticals such as insurance, financial services, tech support, healthcare, PI attorneys and the like.  The publishers are the actual content creators; our Company is merely the intermediary with the relationships and the technology to monitor the calls and bill appropriately.  In addition, the Company provides the analytics and monitoring services to the advertisers.  The ability to solely pay for successful leads utilizing mobile technology that many advertisers do not understand and could not efficiently pay for the appropriate reach is what creates the opportunity and tremendous margins for this Company.
