Golden Gate BPO executives attended the 2012 ERA D2C Convention at the Wynn Las Vegas in Las Vegas, NV, from September 11 – 13, 2012.
Julie Coons, President and CEO of the ERA, sent letters out to association members last week thanking everyone in attendance at the ERA D2C Convention this year. Her letter speaks very accurately in describing the event stating, “This year’s conference featured the most robust education program in recent years. We featured a record number of speakers, who are among the most respected thought leaders in our industry.”
“Since we entered and started serving the DRTV space a little less than 3 years ago, the ERA has been an extremely important association for us,” said Stephen Ferber, Managing Partner with Golden Gate BPO Solutions. “And, now that we have several phenomenal DRTV clients, this year’s D2C Convention also served as a great venue for us to meet with our clients for formal and informal business reviews and strategic planning discussions.”
About D2C and ERA
The ERA D2C Convention is produced by the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA). Representing a more-than $300-billion market, the Electronic Retailing Association (ERA) is the only trade association that represents the global leaders of the direct-to-consumer marketplace—companies which use the power of direct response to sell goods and services on television, online and on radio. ERA’s members practice a sophisticated and accountable marketing methodology, leveraging video and audio to compel a direct and measurable response.
ERA works hard to protect the regulatory and legislative climate of direct response while ensuring a favorable landscape that enhances direct response marketers’ ability to bring quality products and services to the consumer. In addition, the association strives to promote thought leadership and the sharing of knowledge to advance the direct response industry, as well as to facilitate relationships that help members to drive their businesses’ growth and profitability.
